what is your name?
Chrystal McLean

what is your hometown?
I'm originally from Barrie, Ontario, Canada but currently live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada (which I enjoy far more than my "real" hometown.)
what sound or noise do you love?
I love the sound of a good thunderstorm, but there must be lightning to accompany it. As a kid, I used to lay in bed watching the lightning and anticipating the next crash of thunder. My younger sister and brother would jump in and cuddle with me watching and listening as well. We would all scream at the ones that scared us and giggle at the fact that something we knew was coming could scare us so much.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
I would love to just paint and sell art. It has been many years since I painted just for the sake of painting. I think it might be a very theraputic thing for me to do and I look forward to making it a hobby in the near future. I also think that creating something beautiful that others fall in love with and want for their very own would be a wonderful way to make a living.
What is a hobby you have that most people wouldn't guess about you?
Jewelery making... I just wish I were better at it. I love to create beautiful things and jewellery making lets me be very creative. I hope to one day be good enough to sll my wares online or at little craft shows.
What sport do you wish you were better at?
Any sport. I am terrible with sports and not really athletic at all. I really wish I were better at volleyball as it is the first sport I have ever played in a league and actually enjoyed. So being better at it would probably make it that much more enjoyable this coming season
Tell me 3 great things that happened in 2009.
1. I hit the milestone birthday of 30 years. Some people seem terrified of hitting that mark, but I decided that it would be the year for change for me. So far a lot of change has happened and most definitely for the better.
2. Took the time to figure out what I want out of life and how to get there... it's going to be a long journey, but I am prepared now.
3. Started a new relationship, made a lot of new friends and also reconnected with long lost friends.
Do you have a blog or favorite website you'd like to plug?
I have a blog/journal but it's private... if you like me enough from this feel free to comment on a post that is on there and I can add you.

I hope your pinkie finger feels better from your Dodgeball incident last week!
I used to make jewelry and wanted to do shows etc. It's alot of work, but I think with stuff like etsy.com and other internet things It's possible to show your stuff without paying for a table at a fair. Good luck!
