what is your hometown
My hometown is Princeton, MN. When I was growing up the population was somewhere around four or five thousand and now I think they are up to a wildly popular 6,000+... I know, thriving metropolis for sure! Our school mascot is the Princeton Tiger - Cheer for our Princeton team, cheer them along the way (rah rah rah) onward to victory, may we win again today (rah rah rah)... That is the fight song in case you were lost for a moment. Looking back, I remember being thankful for growing up outside of the metro area and to this day, I feel the same. It was (and still is) a tight community. Although it has its ups and downs (like any small or large town), I will always look back and think of it fondly.
what is your favorite sound/least favorite sound?
My favorite sound in the world (other than music of course) is the sound of the crackling of a campfire. Mmm, not only do I love the smell, but the sound. The crackles of the wood as the flames stake their claim keeps me entranced for minutes at a time. The best! My least favorite sound in the world is a mixture of dogs licking (ew) and people who cannot seem to chew food or gum with their mouth shut. I cannot stand the sound of smacking... yuck.
you have 25hours to live, what do you do?
If I had 25 hours to live, I would withdraw all of the money from my accounts, take those closest to me on a trip to Colorado, and spend the day roaming through the mountains, snapping photos for the sake of history, having grand picnics, and simply enjoying those I hold closest to my heart. Perfect day.
what's the weirdest dream you've ever had and/or what recurring dream do you have?
I've truly had many, many weird dreams. There is not so much a recurring theme as there is a recurring person. Oh yes, there is. Thing is, I cannot see his face. All I know/feel from those dreams he is in is that we are together, that I'm incredibly comfortable with him, and that we're in love. I believe he has darker hair, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Consistently though, his face is blurred out. Things that make you go... hmmm.
what one thing are you really looking forward to in spring 2010?
Well, I currently reside in Minnesota & I'm a photographer by nature, so naturally I'm looking forward to GREEN GRASS, budding trees, blooming flowers, and flowing lakes & rivers. Ahh the simple joys in life.
do you have a blog or favorite website you'd like to plug?
My favorite website/addiction is: www.flickr.com. I welcome you to check out my Photostream: Jeana Marie Photography. In fact, check out everyones Photostream! Seriously, if you love browsing artwork, if you enjoy a beautiful photograph, you could find yourself on that website for hours. There are so many talented, amazing photographers out there. And even better, it's truly world wide. I have contacts from London, the Ukraine, Russia, Australia, etc. It's an incredibly artistic outlet and a wonderful way to support your fellow artsy fartsy friends and family. :) Give it a look and perhaps you'll find yourself signing up for a Photostream in no time! Pick up a camera, you never know the world you'll discover! I do have a website which I am working on for myself, however it is not up and running just yet. The details and design are currently being ironed out. Stay tuned... Cheers!
Your dream man is Joel Mchale. I KNOW it is TRUE. Well at least the man in your dreams, I won't let you have him as there are at least 4 others in line for him. You are such a great photographer, keep posting!
