As you read this I'm on my way to central/northernish wisconsin. YAY!
But as I'm typing this I'm still in Illinois and thinking about Joel Mchale. REALLY ? what's that you say?
yes, but this time it's in a more thoughtful way, instead of 'wow he looks good in his cowboy outfit' way.

So I have ordered 2 tickets to see Joel at the Chicago Theatre May 8th. Yippie!
I don't think my husband yet knows about our little conversations here about Joel, but he likes him too but not in that way.

So the obvious question is...are you going to interview Joel?
Well here's what's going through my mind:
  1. if i see him it will be in a giant line of other adoring 30-something fans waiting to talk to him and monopolyzing his time
  2. if i talk to him i figure i have about 30-90 seconds, depending on his mood, when it's just 'me and joel' time.
  3. i don't want to ask him dorky questions like, 'wow you are so great!' or 'remember that time when you dressed like a nurse? that was kewl" yes i know those are non-questions, but that's the kind of high-brow comments that come out of my mouth around people who are great.

so i'm asking you dear readers to submit some of your ideas of questions.
criteria
  • no more than 3 questions
  • nothing too stalkery (hi what underwear are you wearing today?)
  • something fun and not 'what's your name?'
also, i have a camera with video function. is it
a ) creepy to film an interview
    b) perfectly awesome
    c) just take a still picture

at least i have two months to think about this.
have a great friday & weekend!

I say you ask him before you start taking video... but as for a question, how's about - What is the one thing that happened when you were younger that made you want to do what you are doing today?

    AND/OR...

Who is it in your life that has supported you the most and has that person held any influence on the direction you decided to take as an actor/comedian?

I don't know... those are my ideas for ya. Have fun!
