Father's Day King Cake

My parents love King Cake and they are thrilled that I learned how to make them. (In NC you can only get them at Whole Foods and they are the price of used Geo Metro.) However, this year I didn't make one for one reason or another and they were pretty sad about it. The whole family is getting together for Father's Day this weekend so I made a King Cake for everyone! I guess we can call it a Dad Cake.

but I make a butter and cinnamon sugar filling in it. It makes the whole house smell amazing. It's not too labor intensive but there's a lot of waiting around time.

I don't bother putting a baby in them anymore since I'm the only person I know who makes them.
