Housewives of 1957

Apparently none of you watch any of those Bravo shows about women of a certain age who may or may not be married but live in houses, condos or hotels. I mean how can they be real housewives if they #1 aren't wives? #2 don't do anything around the house #3 have 3 nannys?
Aside from all the stereotypical 1950s housewife things...here's some little known facts about Beaver's mom.
- She came from a well to-do family who looked down on her Marrying Ward, the son of a farmer
- She kept her maiden name as her middle name, June Bronson Cleaver
- She was described by her husband in the series as a "former belle of East St. Louis." (think that means something different now a days considering East St. Louis is pretty scary.
- Barbara Billingsly was a former model and career actress who married three times and spent part of her career as a working single mother of two boys.
Around 1:05 is her most famous 1980's movie cameo.
