You Can Put it in My Video
NSFW or your mom's house. But why are you using the internet at these places?
I love Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino AKA Troy on the show Community.
I am completely fan girl over him. My BFF and I have discussed buying yellow sundresses and Ray Bans just because he mentions a girl wearing that in one song. Oh yeah, it's serious.
So you know how I feel about guys dancing so you can see how the above would be my kryptonite. The true beauty, for me, in his lyrics are in the word play. Puns, word play, double entendres...be still my dirty minded English minor heart.
"Sick boy make moves like a chess piece, And that move real quick like Nestle
Let me make it clear for a second like Pepsi."
Sometimes he spends too much time rapping about all of the girls he is *eh hem* entertaining, in his bedroom but then other times his lyrics are so personal that you want to call his mom and have her go check on him.
"I'd rather die than be average and chances are I might."
Both albums are available for free online. Here is the link for the new one: http://www.culdesac-album.com/ It's not for everyone but if you like rap, bass and smart lyrics (you probably aren't reading this blog) it's worth a listen.
Men Dancing Poorly
I've said it before and I'll say it again. I LOVE when men who can't dance, dance. I don't love it in an, "Ooh baby" way. More of a OMGROFLMAOLOLERCOASTER kind of way. It cracks me up. It has to be one of my top five favorite things sooooo I have to share this clip with you:
Someone took a 30 second clip of Ron Swanson dancing and then looped it. If you aren't watching Parks and Recreation, you should be. (And not just because I identify so much with Leslie Knope.)
Want more examples of men who can't dance cutting a rug? Here's a clip from a movie I have watched 50 million times. It's possibly where I developed my weakness for guys with crew cuts in clean white t-shirts. *SWOON*
Chip, you're killing me. Just a note about this movie. When I lived in Apartment 89 we watched it at least once a week and we knew all the lines. We even had a challenge going where we would lure boys into our coat closet to kiss them. However, we were mystified for the longest time about why Chip mumbles, "Blue!" at Pudge when he sees her in that dress. On our old TV her dress was green. It was a real "ah ha" moment when we watched it on another TV.
One more? If you insist. This should hold you for a while.
Oh and FYI, the ladies are probably not looking at your sugarlumps.
